Need for Girls' Education At Hapur:

Girls' education is one of the best investments for achieving the goals of poverty eradication and population control, and improving the standards of living. There are  numerous other social benefits such as marriages at the right age, reduced fertility rates, reduced infant and maternal mortality rates, better nourished and healthier families, and the like. Girls' education can also generate enormous economic benefits for the society in general and individual families in particular. It also reduces a family's financial burden by enhancing its potential for additional income.

Education trains young women to be a part of the country's work force,  which at a mature stage contributes to their greater participation in political and economic life of the country. Uttar Pradesh is the most densely populated state of India. The state has a total of 4675 middle schools as well as higher middle schools out of which, the Meerut Division can claim for only 470. Within this division, only 73 schools are meant for girls. The ratio between boys' and girls' schools stands at 100:18 as against their population ratio of 100:92. This clearly indicates that girls' education is badly neglected in the society. It calls for immediate by the society.

The Logo:

Shiksha Bharati's logo depicts the four-directional thrust of the divine weapon Vajra, which was crafted out of the unblemished bones offered alive by the great sage- scholar- scientist Dadhichi. He had done so on the request of gods who wanted to destroy the otherwise invincible demon Vritasura. Inscribed underneath the logo are twin-goals of human life: the liberation of soul and welfare of the world as propounded by Jagadguru Shankracharya.

According to the Jagadguru, goal of education is not just individual personality  development. It is welfare of all members of the society. The renowned artist Acharaya Nand Lal Bose, a disciple of Gurudev Rabindranath Tagore, designed the art form of the logo. Sister Nivedita gave the present shape to the composition.

The Vision:
