The quality of an organisation's work force plays a very important role in molding of the pupils' personalities. This is why Shri Brahma Devi Saraswati Balika Vidya Mandir recruits teachers who possess a combination of knowledge, skills and aptitude. These qualities enable them to function cross culturally and as a result, greatly influence the success of our students.

We take extra effort in the selection and training of our teachers to ensure only the best performers are recruited. The teachers are specially trained to understand child behaviour and respond in a sweet and reassuring manner. For our teachers, students are not merely the members of the community they teach. They are treated as a part of a large, well-knit family. Our teachers enforce discipline, but not by force. Rather, they ensure it through love and affection. Students' queries are not discouraged or suppressed; they are rather encouraged to come up with new questions so that the scope of academic studies can be widened.

The Principal

Mrs. Alka Gupta, the Principal of the school, is a well educated and highly experienced teacher. She is a motivated and ambitious person who believes in the principle of 'simple living and high thinking.' All the school activities are efficiently supervised by her. Relations between the Principal and teachers are ideal and they all work together as a cohesive team in a harmonious atmosphere. Her efforts in the academic and cultural spheres have aptly reflected in the school's achievements. Mrs. Gupta lays emphasis on discipline, simple lifestyle, punctuality and hard work. She doesn't just preach the good virtues, but leads the teachers and children by example.

Teachers

Each member of faculty imbibes our culture and ethos, which is the thread that binds the entire teaching fraternity. They not only im part education through regular teaching periods, but also engage students in a variety of extra-curricular activities.

This is due to the commitment of out teachers, that the school, under the dynamic leadership of Mrs. Alka Gupta, has acquired for itself a  high prestige for providing uncompromised quality education. 

The teachers also take keen interest in sports and games and also accompany girl students for competitions and tournaments. It has been made compulsory for the teachers to attend all the workshops and seminars conducted by the school or other educational institutions.  During the last session, our teachers attended a workshop on Mathematics in Modipuram, on Physics-Biology in Allahabad and on Computers at Sahibabad.

Outside Consultants:

The school invites Subject Experts for meetings with the subject teachers followed by discussions and guidelines. A number of such workshops are arranged in the school premises. During the last session, Shri B. N. Garg, a retired professor of S.S.V. Degree College was invited to conduct a workshop on Chemistry.
