A galaxy of institutions
A large plot of land has been
acquired at Hapur for the Shiksha Bharati project. The project is going to house at
least five different educational and research institutions of
different categories in the years to come. Architectural planning of
the campus has also been done keeping in mind the future
requirements of the institution. Of the proposed institutions,
Shrimati Brahma Devi Saraswati Balika Vidya Mandir, a high school,
is already serving the society while the others are in different stages
of development.
Of the five institutions that are
going to operate under Shiksha Bharati's umbrella, College of
Education and Technology will commence its operations from the next
academic session itself. Work on Saraswati Shishu Vatika, Computer
Education Centre and Agricultural Research and Development Centre is
also going on full-swing and these organisations should become
operational within a couple of years.
